Hue Event! Lots of people, heaps of color and tons of inspiration

Recently, I had the pleasure of hosting the first in a series of "Home Inspiration" workshops for local homeowners and design enthusiasts. I hosted the event with Shannon Kaye, who is a bay area artist, color consultant and former host of Fresh Coat, on the DIY channel. You can see some examples of her work at her website.

The event was at the super stylish Climb office, and participants brought in an "inspiration piece" which ranged from a small painting and fabric samples to my favorite, a ceramic rooster. Shannon led participants through how to use different color schemes to create totally different looks and feels. Sushi and mimosas were served, and workshop participants left with paint decks and ideas to freshen up their home.
